Overview of Honda Brio

The Small Car Concept which was unveiled by Honda at the Auto Expo 2010 in New Delhi, will be sold as 'Brio' in India and other countries. Honda India launched the much-awaited hatchback on 26th September, 2011 in Indian market, it was already on-sale in Thailand. Honda has priced Brio very comptitively at Rs. 3.95 lakhs for the base variant. The company also re-launched the Jazz recently with a price tag of 5.5 lakhs. Above mentioned prices are ex-showroom New Delhi. Honda India has priced the Brio very competitively, the base model is priced at Rs. 3.95 lakhs and top model has been priced at Rs. 5.1 lakhs. At this price point, it is for sure that it will be a huge success and will sell in good numbers. Honda has learned that pricing does matter in countries like India where people are used to ask the price first and then about the comfort, styling and styling features of the car. Honda recently reduced the prices of City and Jazz, the result is very positive, the company managed to sell around 6000 units of City in one month (highest in its class) and Jazz also managed to sell in decent numbers.
